Journey
I started out as a pro soccer player, and trained kids how to ski. My pro sports life ended due to a motorcycle crash and I focused on creating beautiful images.
I moved on to become a Visual Effects Artist, working for big Hollywood movies, winning an Oscar for Best VFX, and working many many hours in front of the computer screen. IMDB credits for franzbrandstaetter can be found here
I changed my career for something more important than money. Currently I am dedicating all my time and effort to my family, raising my kids and taking care of all the stuff going on in my personal life. Next to that I give back my know how to young artists at the filmacademy Vienna.
I haven't lost my passion for nice images or helping young artists to gain knowledge, but I am working solely on projects I care for and can be handled easily next to my family. Next to that I found a new passion: vanlife
Nobody knows what the future might bring. I am living today, here and now. So I do not worry or care about tomorrow. But if I got asked I say, I wish I have time for the right things to do and to make things count.
